Dr Amos Lian En Zhe

About Me

Dr. Amos Lian is a highly experienced psychotherapist with over eight years of clinical practice in Malaysia and internationally. His training in integrative psychotherapy in the UK was followed by a PhD in counselling in Malaysia, where he developed a trauma-focused psychotherapy for complex PTSD. His post-doctoral research has focused on psychoanalysis and creative psychotherapy.

Dr. Lian’s extensive training encompasses a wide range of modalities, including psychoanalytic psychotherapy, schema therapy, EMDR, art therapy, and sand-tray therapy. He is currently training in object-relations psychoanalysis at the Object Relations Institute in the US.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lian is an HRDF-certified trainer, providing regular training to various companies. Besides being a program director in Raffles University, he also serves as an adjunct professor at Columbia International University, where he teaches and supervises students in the Master of Clinical Counselling program.
